VINCENZO CASTELLANA
Architect

Born in 1970 in Milan, he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Palermo, where he collaborated on courses in set design and architectural design. In 1998, he was selected by Designing Craft Europe with the object Bidi-Tridi.
In 2005 he founded the Community of Good Product DesignOrientity and LP Permanent Laboratory, which was included in the ADI Design Index 2007 in the category of research and education in design. In 2008, together with Vanni Pasca, he founded the Sicilian branch of ADI, serving as its president until 2015.
Since 2012 he has been a lecturer at the ABADIR Academy in Catania. Since May 2019 he has been teaching at IULM University in the Master in Design Management, in the module on strategic design and territory.
In 2019 he received his second nomination for the Compasso d’Oro award in the business research section, for the art direction of the company Desine.
