In the tradition of the Grand Tour, Italy becomes a school of design, style, and the good life. Two weeks in Puglia can change your life, helping you focus on your future path in the fields of design and creativity.

There is a long tradition of Italy hosting summer courses for universities and schools from other countries. DIT opens its doors to international high schools and hosts 14-day summer residencies in English for students aged 14 to 19.

In 2024, during two-week periods from May 27th to June 9th and from August 12th to August 25th, it is possible to activate a project with specially designed content.

During this experience, young people discover a territory rich in history and sensory stimuli, and they gauge their talents and aspirations. Alongside them are teachers with different methodologies from what they are used to. Away from home, learning and discovery become agile and fast.

The group, which includes a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 40 students, can choose from 4 main subjects compared to the 8 basics of the DIT Summer camp (Architecture, Fashion, Design, Photography, Graphic Design and Communication, Video, Creative Writing and Illustration). They can also participate in one of the 4 additional workshops designed for young people approaching Italian cultural heritage for the first time: Italian art history, Italian design history, Italian language, and Italian cuisine.

The program includes a one-day excursion to one of the three ‘capitals’ of art in Central and Southern Italy: Rome, Naples, or Lecce.

Are you a high school outside of Italy and are you thinking about how to enrich your students’ summer with educational projects that combine communal life, creative tasks, and leisure?
