Good Design is an independent social enterprise which celebrates the importance of design and creativity by developing educational projects.
We work on projects outside of the usual systems which have a strong ethicalscope.
In 2010 our organization received the Medal of Representation from the Italian government for our inernational project on social communication, Good50x70. In 2012 and 2016 it won the ADI Index in the category for educational projects.
For over 18 years we have been creating workshops and project experiences for universities and schools at all levels.
We support the following industry associations: AIAP Italian Association of Visual Communication Design, ADCI Italian Art Directors Club, AI Association of Image Authors, AIR3 Italian Directors Association, AFIP International Association of Professional Photographers.
For the past 11 years we have been running Design in Town.

PASQUALE VOLPE
Director of Summer Camp Design in Town
President of the Good Design Association for Social Promotion
Designer by trade, in 2012 he created the Summer camp Design in Town and directed it since its first edition.
For 12 years he was a professor at the Accademia di Comunicazione di Milano, for 7 years at NABA and IED, and for 4 years at Istituto Maragoni. In 2005 he founded the social enterprise Good Design. In 2008 he founded the design studio Pvolpedesign. In 2014 he and his partner took over and relaunched the Accademia di Belle Arti Rosario Gagliardi in Siracuse under the name Made Program. In 2016 he opened the Italian campus of the university of Fashion and Design Raffles Education, which he directed for the first 3 years.
He has received numerous awards, including a Yellow Pencil, the Aretê Award for Responsible Communication, a bronze at the European Design Awards and two ADI Indexes. For his teaching, he has received 17 awards from the D&AD/British Designers and the Art Directors Club in London. He is the creator and artistic director of the international project Good50x70, which earned him the Medal of Representation from the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano for his work in the field of design with a social outlook. He has been a judge for national and international design competitions. He is a senior member of D&AD London and a professional member of AIAP and ADCI.
