Graduated in illustration and comics from the Scuola d’Arte del Castello Sforzesco, he immediately dedicated himself to scientific naturalistic illustration. For about 20 years he has specialized in paleoart, creating realistic reconstructions of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals.
Since 1990 he has been a member of the Associazione Illustratori Italiani. He collaborates with both national and international publishers, including National Geographic, Smithsonian Institution, Random House, Fleurus Editions, and Mondadori.
Among the international recognitions he has received, the National Geographic Lanzendorf PaleoArt Prize for 2D paleoart stands out, awarded in 2016 in Salt Lake City.
