PATRIZIA ELLI
Illustrator

After completing her art high school diploma, she collaborated for two years with fashion designer Gianni Baldini, creating textile patterns and garment designs. This was followed by a seven-year period working as a comic artist for several publications, including Diabolik, Intrepido, and Lancio Story.
Her interest in advertising imagery then became predominant, and in 1976 she opened an illustration studio with Giuliano Bartoli, working for agencies and direct clients. Her activity as an illustrator spans various techniques and fields: publishing, toy design, pop-up books, animation, mock-ups, and animatics.
Since 1980 she has been a member of the AI – Associazione Illustratori, serving as its President from 1989 to 1991. Always interested in the human figure and dance, she has developed a parallel artistic practice as a sculptor, painter, and creator of sculptural jewelry. She prefers traditional techniques such as oil paints, tempera, sanguine, and pastel.
Among the works she particularly likes to recall are the packaging for Versace fragrances Red Jeans and Blue Jeans (created in dry tempera), the book Artworks Costa Atlantica for Costa Crociere (sanguine), animated sequences for the TV program Albero Azzurro, posters for Fiera Milano (mixed media), Christmas gift editions for Lever, and fantasy illustrations for Rizzoli.
