FRANCESCO MONCADA
Architect

Born in Siracusa in 1976, he studied architecture in Palermo and Pamplona. After completing his studies, he lived and worked in Barcelona, London, Rotterdam, Oslo, Porto, and Dubai. Since 2010 he has collaborated as a Project Leader with OMA / Rem Koolhaas. For the firm, he designed the transformation of the Fondaco dei Tedeschi into a department store in Venice, the stage designs for the Teatro Greco di Siracusa 2012 season, the flagship store for the jewelry brand Repossi at Place Vendôme, and the Knoll pavilion at the Salone del Mobile 2016.
His projects have been published in Wallpaper*, Wired, Frame, Interni, Dwell, Case da Abitare, Ottagono, Dezeen, Designboom, ArchDaily, Plataforma Arquitectura, and in various books.
