FRANCESCO CAVALLI
Creative Director

He is a creative director, designer, and communication strategist. He lives and works in Milan, where together with Bruno Genovese, David Pasquali, and Andrea Braccaloni he founded the studio Leftloft, which has completed more than 800 projects for local and international clients.
In 2009 he left Milan to open a new office in New York, where he spends part of his time developing new business and design activities. Alongside his professional work, he has always been involved in teaching. He has taught visual communication at the Politecnico di Milano, NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, and the Accademia di Comunicazione in Milan, and has taken part in various industry events and workshops.
In 2005, together with other Milan-based design studios, he co-founded the Ministero della Grafica, an association promoting design culture, which organized Spaghetti Grafica at the Triennale—the first exhibition to document and present the work of graphic design studios in Italy.
He believes that design can change the world, far more than clients are usually willing to bet on.
