Matteo Giulio Pagliai is an Italian film director and producer with extensive experience in the industry. After graduating from the DAMS Firenze in 2010, he continued his studies by earning a diploma in Film Directing at the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema Indipendente (SNCI) two years later.
During his career, Pagliai founded his first production company, EcoFrames Film & TV, in 2012. Later, in 2018, he established La Pagliai Film Group, further consolidating his work in film production. He has specialized in film directing, exploring various genres and directing a wide range of projects, including commercials for national brands such as Riva Yachts and Ferretti Group, documentaries such as El Poderoso – Siempre adelante!, Moleria Locchi, and Il ritratto di Masri, and cinematic works such as Come la prima volta and Blackout.
In addition to directing, he has served as Executive Producer on numerous Italian productions, collaborating with prestigious companies and institutions such as Rai Cinema, NBC, Sky Arte, France 2, TV5Monde, Google Arts & Culture, Cartier, Red Bull, Jägermeister, and Stanford University.
His experience and expertise have made him a key figure in the Italian film scene, contributing to the success of a wide range of projects both nationally and internationally.
