Born and raised in northern Italy, Marco Cimberle developed a passion for drawing at a young age, inspired by his grandfather’s watercolour landscapes. His insight of painting vertical surfaces rather than the sheets of paper he was given became his vocation.
Although not formally trained in academic drawing, the world of graffiti and his university studies in Industrial Design nurtured his creative passion. During the fifteen years he spent as a founder and member of the Truly Design studio, he deepened his mastery of representational techniques, ranging from brand design to editorial layout, graphic design, and anamorphic painting, significantly expanding his graphic and illustrative skills.
For 23 years, with spray cans and brushes always at hand, he has worked as a freelancer and collaborates with the association Il Cerchio e Le Gocce. For the past seven years, he has also taught Drawing for Painting in the Illustration course at the European Institute of Design in Turin.
