Libri Finti Clandestini is a cosmopolitan collective formed by the artists El Pacino, Aniv Delarev, and Yghor Kowalvsky. Their work and research focus on the artist’s book. By sourcing materials from abandoned factories, archives, and print workshops, their aim is to create books that explore forgotten places within the urban landscape.
The LFC production began with the making of sketchbooks and notebooks, ready to be used and drawn in, along with small-edition pop-up books featuring early 20th-century characters. They later collaborated with artists, street artists, and illustrators to create unique artist’s books in single copies, eventually expanding into other artistic fields such as photography and letterpress printing, always keeping the book at the center of their artistic practice and continuously experimenting with manufacturing techniques and printing solutions.
