After attending an Art High School, he studied Stage Design and then Painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions, solo shows, and performances in galleries, public spaces, and theatrical venues.
In 1976, after several years working as an art director at the Ogilvy & Mather agency, he founded an illustration and creative studio in Milan together with Patrizia Elli, serving direct clients as well as advertising agencies, film production companies, and publishing houses.
He has created work for La Valle degli Orti, Lever, De Agostini, Editrice Giochi, Ferrero, La Gazzetta dello Sport, and RAI. In 1979 he was among the founding members of the Illustrators Association, an organization in which he has held various roles. He is currently a member of the Board and responsible for exhibitions, projects, and special events.
He leads training courses on communication and creativity for companies and schools. He is head of the Illustration and Design course at the Accademia di Comunicazione in Milan.
