ANDREA MARAGNO
Designer

Founder of the design and communication studio JoeVelluto in Vicenza. In 2002 he created RosAria, a disposable rosary made of bubble wrap. In 2005 he published Salefino: nuovi sapori dal design italiano. The following year, together with Cristina Morozzi, he launched Nazionale Italiana Design for the new brand CoincasaDesign, a project that received an honorable mention at the Compasso d’Oro in 2011.In 2008, the Saver project by Coroitalia was selected for the ADI Design Index. In the same year, he presented the exhibition/manifesto UseLess Is More, the first interpretation of the Adesign concept, which also became the title of a book published by Corraini Edizioni.
In 2011 he exhibited at the Triennale Design Museum with funcooldesign, a solo show curated by Oliviero Toscani. In 2014 he exhibited at the MARS Gallery the project Amen/Lumen, with the participation of Alessandro Mendini, curated by Beppe Finessi.
He has been a lecturer and visiting professor at numerous Italian universities and institutions, including Scuola Italiana Design, Scuola Politecnica di Design, NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Polimoda, Università IUAV di Venezia, Sapienza Università di Roma, ISIA Faenza, Politecnico di Milano (Como campus), and Libera Università di Bolzano.
