He is a documentary photographer whose research focuses on contemporary, social, and identity-related themes. His practice alternates between photojournalism, portraiture, and long-term documentary projects, developed through an approach that is attentive to contexts and people.
He has worked in Africa, Europe, the Mediterranean area, the Caribbean, and Latin America. His work has received international recognition through numerous awards and mentions, including World Press Photo, the Ponchielli/GRIN Award, and Voies Off Arles – Prix de la Critique, and has been exhibited at major festivals.
He collaborates with Italian and international publications such as Internazionale, Time Lightbox, and l’Espresso, and alongside his professional activity he is consistently engaged in education, leading workshops in Italy and abroad.
