He began experimenting with photography at a very young age and, at the age of eleven, intrigued by the potential of film, he asked his father for what would become his first camera: a modest yet sturdy Russian-made manual SLR. From that moment on, he began combining photographic research with his other great passion, painting.
He attended the studio of sculptor Darin Lazarov, deepening his understanding of human anatomy, composition, and colour, until he developed a personal artistic language. He graduated in Art History with a thesis on the history of photography at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo”, and completed his studies with a Master in Photography and Visual Design at the Forma Foundation for Photography in Milan.
He is one of the founding members of AFIP International, the Association of Professional Photographers. He works in Milan, producing services for the fashion and advertising sectors. He is represented in Italy and abroad by Bruna Caldi Agent: brunacaldi.com
