Sha Ribeiro is an internationally renowned photographer known for his sharp eye and unique approach to capturing portraits and music subcultures. He is driven by primal instincts and a deep understanding of what is culturally relevant.
Throughout his career, he has refined his ability to identify and document the most vibrant and dynamic scenes, from New Orleans bounce to London grime. Ribeiro’s work is diverse, ranging from major campaigns for brands such as Nike and Porsche, to art book publications for Pirelli HangarBicocca.
His visual language is dynamic and reflects his passion for music and people. Born in Lisbon and raised in Milan, in 2006 Ribeiro moved to New York, where he immersed himself in the city’s musical and cultural scene.
He currently lives between Milan and London, constantly seeking new and exciting moments to capture. Ribeiro is always pushing the boundaries of his art, creating powerful visual narratives that convey messages about culture and society.
