ALESSIO BATTISTELLA
Architect

He is a researcher, architect, and lecturer. He lives and works in Milan, where he is a faculty member and part of the scientific committee of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at the Politecnico di Milano.
He is President of ARCò – Architecture and Cooperation, an organization that promotes architectural solutions oriented toward sustainable development. He is also a member of the Scientific Committee of IN/ARCH – National Institute of Architecture, actively contributing to the debate on innovation and sustainability in architecture.
His work, both academic and professional, is characterized by a strong commitment to circular and cooperative architecture, with particular attention to the integration of sustainability and equity. He believes that architecture can transform communities and improve quality of life far more than is often assumed in public discourse.
