We have been organizing Design in Town for 14 years and more than 1500 university and secondary school students have taken part in our summer camp, working closely with more than 140 teachers. Since its first edition, Design in Town has gained the support of the most important trade associations. Our President has more than 24 years of teaching and teaching coordination experience, and in 2017 he opened the Italian branch of the Raffles Education University of Fashion and Design. Our lecturers are all established design and creative professionals, and many of them are university lecturers. They all have experience in teaching and leading collective projects.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"faq-item\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n            <div class=\"question\"  itemprop=\"name\">For which age group of students is it intended?<\/div>\n            <div class=\"answer\" itemscope itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\"><div class=\"Paragrafobase\" itemprop=\"text\"><p>The Design in Town summer camp for the 2027 edition is aimed at secondary school students between the ages of 14 and 18, including all from years 1 to 5.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"faq-item\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n            <div class=\"question\"  itemprop=\"name\">Is there a deadline for registration?<\/div>\n            <div class=\"answer\" itemscope itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\"><div class=\"Paragrafobase\" itemprop=\"text\">There is no deadline to register, but it is advisable to register as soon as possible, as places for each of the weeks go quickly.<\/div><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"faq-item\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n            <div class=\"question\"  itemprop=\"name\">Is Design in Town part of INPSieme?<\/div>\n            <div class=\"answer\" itemscope itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\"><div class=\"Paragrafobase\" itemprop=\"text\"><p>We have joined this proposal for some of the weeks of the course during summer 2027.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"faq-item\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n            <div class=\"question\"  itemprop=\"name\">What clothing and things do I need to bring to camp?<\/div>\n            <div class=\"answer\" itemscope itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\"><div class=\"Paragrafobase\" itemprop=\"text\">For the duration of the summer camp, each student wears the uniform provided on arrival: t-shirt and backpack. No other T-shirts may be worn. Students provide their own trousers, shorts or skirts, which must be black. They also provide the necessary equipment for the day at the pool: swimming costume, towel, sun cream. It is advisable to bring a black sweatshirt for cooler evenings without printed or embroidered graphics or brands. Students must provide their own sheets, pillowcases, towels and bathrobe for the shower. For project activities, they should have a laptop computer and a camera. Those who are not in possession of one or both of these may still participate by notifying the organisers in advance. \n    <\/div><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"faq-item\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n            <div class=\"question\"  itemprop=\"name\">How do I register?<\/div>\n            <div class=\"answer\" itemscope itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\"><div class=\"Paragrafobase\" itemprop=\"text\"><p>Registration for the Design in Town 2027 summer camp must be done online. Once you have completed and submitted the registration form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"faq-item\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n            <div class=\"question\"  itemprop=\"name\">What kind of supervision is ensured over the students?<\/div>\n            <div class=\"answer\" itemscope itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\"><div class=\"Paragrafobase\" itemprop=\"text\">Our idea is that organizers and tutors should act more as &#8216;big brothers&#8217; than as bosses and disciplinaries of the students, who are encouraged to self-organize. On the other hand, it is necessary to provide guests with prescribed medication for ongoing treatments, and in this case we would like to point out that only the medication indicated in the health card will be administered. On request, we can also organize trips from other cities, with or without an accompanying person. Participants can reach the municipality of Troia independently. (Only in the case of Creative Writing and Illustration do students produce two projects within the same discipline). To complete a project, students only have three days, which is why the day is punctuated with a certain rigour.
