He also studied on a scholarship at ENSCI \u2013 Les Ateliers in France. After completing a degree in product design in New Zealand, he returned to Japan, where he worked for Naoto Fukasawa.<br \/>\nIn 2012 he moved to Milan and founded his own design studio in 2015. The following year, Elle Decor Japan awarded him the Japanese Young Talent Award.<br \/>\nTakeuchi\u2019s approach to life is highly international, and his design vision naturally reflects his multicultural background. He is able to see things from multiple perspectives, and his approach emphasizes essentiality, seeking to improve the nature of products in the simplest and most human way possible. His design also creates a spontaneous dialogue between objects and everyday life.<br \/>\nHis borderless approach to design is appreciated by brands across different sectors. Today he collaborates with leading companies worldwide, including MillerKnoll in the United States, Fredericia in Denmark, Nine in the United Kingdom, Boffi De Padova in Italy\u2014where he serves as art director\u2014and Karimoku in Japan, among others.<br \/>\nHe also participated in the Social Seating project, an outdoor initiative presented during the first Fiskars Village Art &amp; Design Biennale 2019.
