In 1975 he became creative director at AdMarCo. In 1976 he joined BBDO Italia.<br \/>\nIn 1979, together with Annamaria Testa, he founded the agency Italia\/Italia. In 1981 he joined Michele Rizzi e Associati. In 1983 he was creative director at BBDO.<br \/>\nIn 1984, together with Sandro Baldoni and Fabrizio Sabbatini, he founded FCA\/SBP, which within a decade became a major reference point for Italian creativity. In 1985 he was among the founders of the Art Directors Club Italiano.<br \/>\nIn 1996 he joined the roster of directors at Filmmaster. He is the author and director of Bl\u00f9, a monthly program on Italian creativity broadcast on Tele+.<br \/>\nIn 2000, together with Emanuele Pirella, Nicoletta Verga, and Giovanni Gorla, he founded La Scuola di Emanuele Pirella. In 2010 he joined the agency Le Balene, founded by Marco Andolfato, Giusi Bonsignore, and Sandro Baldoni.<br \/>\nOver a long career, he has won 15 gold, 23 silver, and 29 bronze awards from the Art Directors Club Italiano, 1 Clio Awards, 3 Lions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and 2 Grand Prix at SpotItalia.<br \/>\nHe has published L\u2019indispensable encyclopedie des nombres par ordre alphabetique (1992), C\u2019ero una volta \u2013 vita di un creativo (2006), and Il fantastico viaggio di Ubu (2014).<br \/>\nIn 2009 he attempted to reach the Caribbean alone in winter aboard a 6-meter sailboat.
