From 1978 to 1984 he lived in London, where he founded Alias U.K. and became Director of Artemide G.B.<br \/>\nIn 1979 he was a founding partner of Alias, and in 1992 of Nemo. In 1999 he founded Forcolini.Lab, a creative design studio working across different fields of design and visual communication. In 2005 he was a founding partner of OYlight.<br \/>\nThroughout his career he has designed for Amar, Artemide, Alias, Cassina, BBB Bonacina, De Padova, Luceplan, Luci Italia, Gervasoni, Joint, Nemo, OYlight, Pomellato, Valenti, and Zumtobel Residential Lighting.<br \/>\nFrom 1995 to 2000 he was art director for Pomellato. From 2001 to 2007 he served as National President of ADI (Association for Industrial Design). In 2007 he became a member of the Italian Design Council. From 2009 onwards he held successive roles within the IED Group, including CEO, Vice President (2012), and Scientific Director (2014).<br \/>\nHis projects are included in the collections of the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York, the Mus\u00e9e des Arts D\u00e9coratifs in Paris, the Design Museum of the Triennale di Milano, and the ADI Compasso d\u2019Oro Collection.
