We have also learnt to create our own videos, share them, and then discover that we have an audience. Today 82% of all IP traffic is attributable to video of all kinds. Whether they are snippets of exhibitionism posted on Tik Tok or serial stories of great literary value, they always respond to uniquely human primordial need: storytelling. Film is simply the most powerful tool for doing so, and this explains its success.
